Agriculture Paper Released

Kings County is seen as a centre for scientific research and advances in agricultural technology. Agriculture is an economic driver. It not only provides employment for those working on the farm as well as those working in related and value added industries; it has a great impact on the tourism industry in the Valley. Agriculture characterizes our area. The picturesque fields and orchards are evidence of a working agricultural landscape. There is a distinction between more urban areas that provide a range of residential options, as well as services, and rural lands that are devoted to agricultural uses.

Hi. I was wondering who is a key contact (and their coordinates) regarding questions about the position of agriculture in the Kings 2050 planning exercise and how it was developed? Thanks for your help. Jim
